Bi-injection moulding

Bi-injection technology is revolutionising traditional moulding because it allows us to reduce the number of production phases, optimising timings and costs. The various injections installed can always work autonomously and independently, guaranteeing maximum flexibility and adaptability to production needs. At Powerplast Italia we believe in technological updating for both our own and customers’ growth, which is why our machinery includes a bi-injection moulding machine for the most ambitious projects.

The key feature of bi-injection moulding is the ability to inject two different types of materials into the mould, therefore also two different colours. This technology allows us to obtain a finished product in a single step, combining different finishes and colours. Such as, for example, a rigid polymer structure and a soft touch rubber finish, or a transparent material with an opaque one, or the interior made with a recycled material and the exterior with an aesthetically beautiful material.
